Events

An advisory is a configuration to check and fix; a campaign is an operation tracked over time; an event is one dated thing that happened, recorded from public reporting with what is known and what is not.

Events live at events/YYYY/EVT-YYYY-NNNN.json. Required fields are the id, title, date, kind, summary, sources, confidence, and lastUpdated. A high-confidence event needs a primary, vendor, or research source. Unknown details are listed under unknowns, never guessed. Approximate dates use the first day of the stated month or year and set dateApproximate to true.
